Early Childhood Center Administrative Assistant Opening
The position of administrative assistant is to assist the Early Childhood Director in performing clerical duties of the school. This includes but is not limited to composing, or transcribing correspondences, bulletins, memorandums, minutes and other material. Responsibilities also include processing all paperwork and compiling and filing student records and reports. He/she is an ambassador of the school and will greet visitors and assist them, talk with students and help students encountering problems; the administrative assistant will answer telephone calls to provide information, take messages or transfer calls. Good communication and organizational skills are crucial to this position. This is a full-time position during the school year with 20 days of extended time throughout the year.
